Thesis, Department of Elementary School Teacher Education. Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, Universitas Muhammadiyah Malang, Supervisors (I) Dian Fitri Nur Aini, M.Pd (II) Dian Ika Kusumaningtyas, M.Pd
It is known that fifth-grade students at SDN Dadaprejo 01 Batu still lack learning media to support the material on Explanation Texts in the Indonesian language subject. Based on this, the researcher developed the Pop Up Monopoly (Board Game) to support the learning material and make the learning process engaging and enjoyable. The purpose of this research is to produce the Pop Up Monopoly (Board Game) media for the Indonesian Language subject. This research used the ADDIE model and consists of five stages: analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. Data collection techniques used were observation, interviews, questionnaires, and documentation. The results of the development of the Pop Up Monopoly (Board Game) in the Explanation Text material, based on the evaluation percentages determined by media experts, obtained a score of 94%, while the validation from subject matter experts received a score of 83%, with a "Very Feasible" rating. Meanwhile, the teacher's response to the Pop Up Monopoly (Board Game) was 90%, and the students' response was 99%. The results of this study show that the development of the Pop Up Monopoly (Board Game) is suitable for use, and the students' response to the media is very positive. The Pop Up Monopoly (Board Game) can be used as a tool to support the learning material, but it still has some shortcomings, which require further innovation and improvement by subsequent researchers.
