Abstract

This research aims to develop audio-based 3-dimensional snakes and ladders learning media on multiplication material for class III students at SDN Dadaprejo 01 Batu. Based on the needs analysis, students still have difficulty uderstanding the concept of multiplication, and there is no learning media that supports this material. This media is designed to make learning more interesting,fun, and increase students' understanding.
The method used was the ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development,
Implementation, Evaluation) development model, with 16 students as research subjects. Data collection techniques include observation, interviews, questionnaires and documentation, and analyzed qualitatively and quantitatively.
The development results show that this media is very suitable for use. Media expert validation obtained a score of 97%, material expert validation 94%, teacher response 100%, and student response 90%. Thus, audio-based 3- dimensional snakes and ladders media is considered effective in supporting multiplication learning, and is able to increase participants' motivation and active
involvement in the learning process. This media has limitations, namely that it can only be used for multiplication concept material in mathematics and requires quite a long time in the manufacturing process, especially at the design and validation stages. Next to this, it is hoped that audio-based 3-dimensional snakes and ladders media can be developed so that it is more flexible and can be used by all students, both regular and non-regular.
