PEMBERDAYAAN PEREMPUAN DALAM PEMBANGUNAN: UPAYA MENINGKATKAN INDEKS KUALITAS KELUARGA (Studi di Desa Gunungsari Kecamatan Beji Kabupaten Pasuruan)

Community Empowerment has the meaning of efforts to make society independent through the realization of the potential abilities they have. In this study, it was carried out to find out the implementation of programs to improve the Family Quality Index for women in GunungSari Village through programs from PKK such as food processing training, making decorations from used goods, training in bathing corpses, planting toga plants, training in making meatballs, PKK coordination while Posyandu Terate such as body weighing, checking the health of mothers carrying babies, explanations related to Healthy Books, Pregnant women's class activities, supplementary feeding. This study uses a qualitative approach with a qualitative descriptive research type and then uses purposive subject collection techniques. This research was carried out in GunungSari Village, Pasuruan Regency in collecting data through observation, interviews and documentation. The data analysis technique used Miles, Huberman, and Saldana and then the validity was in the form of source triangulation. In this study, the theory of community empowerment from Sumodiningrat is used. The findings contained in this study show that the community empowerment program, especially women, implemented by the Village Government in collaboration with the PKK and Posyandu Terate has caused a big change for women in GunungSari Village, in this change women get a lot of benefits from the programs and activities that have been carried out. In the activities that have been running, it has goals such as building confidence in women so that they can grow independently, then making women brave in socializing in the open. Then women can make a work of creativity without having to depend on PKK and Posyandu Terate activities, then the emergence of the nature of maintaining health and maintaining food patterns from Posyandu Terate activities, in maintaining the health of women will be given a healthy book to always carry during routine check-ups once every 1 month to check what has been done or has not been done by women, whether they are pregnant with a baby or women who are pregnant. have given birth. There is a sense of public trust in the Village Government as well as PKK and Posyandu organizations.
