Abstract
Gastrodiplomacy is a diplomatic approach that combines a country's culinary and food culture as a tool to promote a country's positive image. Indonesia is one of the countries that uses gastrodiplomacy to introduce its own typical Indonesian food, namely Tempeh. The Indonesian Tempe movement is a non-governmental actor that wants to promote tempeh to the international community. The problem formulation in this journal is the strategy used by the Indonesian Tempe Movement in promoting tempe culinary in the world. The results show that the Indonesian Tempe Movement has several interesting strategies for successful tempe promotion by using social media campaigns via Facebook and Instagram, in which there are various posts about tempe in various forms of food in a style that attracts the attention of media netizens. The Indonesian Tempe Movement also carries out conferences, workshops on tempe itself and have a startup, namely Better Nature. This research uses qualitative descriptive research with data collection techniques using library research. This research uses the concepts of Gastrodiplomacy and Nano power diplomacy.
