Abstract
This study aims to determine the Utilization of Facebook Groups in Searching for Job Vacancies (Study on Members of the Info Warga Blitar IWB Group). The research respondents were found to be 5 samples of 20 respondents. Data were collected using descriptive qualitative methods. The data collection techniques used are using interviews, participant observation, and documents. in the final conclusion can be connected to the literature review that the Uses and Gratifications theory shows that the use of media by individuals is based on certain motivations that want to be fulfilled, such as getting job information or establishing social connections between members, then Information Seeking Theory also strengthens the understanding that individuals have information needs that encourage them to use certain media to get job vacancies in this case Facebook groups. Thus, from media utilization, namely the need for information, knowledge, social relations, or entertainment, from the concept of media utilization found in this study, 2 concepts were obtained in media utilization, namely information needs and social relations in the context of job search.
