ANALISIS DAYA SAING SEKTOR EKONOMI UNGGULAN DI KABUPATEN TANGERANG TAHUN 2011-2022

This research aims to investigate the competitiveness of the leading economic sectors in Tangerang Regency during the period 2013-2022. The analytical methods employed include Static Location Quotient, Dynamic Location Quotient, a combination of Static Location Quotient and Dynamic Location Quotient, Shift Share Analysis, and Klassen Typology. The study explores factors influencing economic competitiveness, identifies key sectors, and analyzes shifts and distribution of competitiveness at the sector level. The Static Location Quotient approach is used to understand the economic impact on social and environmental sustainability. Dynamic Location Quotient is employed to evaluate changes in the local economic structure, while the combination of Static Location Quotient and Dynamic Location Quotient provides a holistic view of sectoral competitiveness. Shift Share Analysis is utilized to identify factors contributing to changes in competitiveness, while Klassen Typology assists in classifying sectors based on characteristics and economic performance. The results of this research are expected to provide in-depth insights into the dynamics of the economic sectors in Tangerang Regency during the studied period. Relevant policy implications can be derived to enhance the competitiveness of the leading economic sectors, thereby promoting sustainable and inclusive economic growth in the region. The research findings indicate that, during the period 2013-2022, three sectors experienced significant growth: Agriculture, Forestry, and Fisheries; Manufacturing Industry; and Electricity and Gas Supply. Additionally, Shift Share Analysis identifies that the Wholesale and Retail Trade sector exhibited high competitiveness during the same period. The combined analysis of Static Location Quotient and Dynamic Location Quotient during the same period reveals that the leading economic sectors in Tangerang Regency are Construction, Financial and Insurance Services.
