ASUHAN KEPERAWATAN PADA PASIEN KANKER SERVIKS YANG MENGALAMI KECEMASAN SAAT MENJALANI KEMOTERAPI DI RUANGAN SINGKARAK RSUD DR. SAIFUL ANWAR

Background: The side effects of chemotherapy often cause physical and psychological impacts, including anxiety in cancer patients, especially regarding the process and the impact of chemotherapy on their lives. Anxiety can even prolong the lam in patients undergoing chemotherapy, this study aims to provide nursing care to patients to reduce anxiety in cervical cancer patients during chemotherapy at Dr. Saiful Anwar Hospital, Singkarak room.
Method: The method used in the preparation of this Ners Final Scientific Paper uses the case study research method or case study method with a non-probability sampling technique approach, namely purposive sampling. This research follows the scientific method in accordance with the rules of the nursing process including the process of assessment, data analysis, intervention, implementation and nursing evaluation. The data collection process uses several methods, namely interview, observation, test and documentation methods.
Results: After providing nursing care for 3 days, the author raised the main nursing diagnosis, namely Anxiety related to lack of exposure to information characterized by patients feeling worried about the consequences of the conditions faced. Interventions to reduce anxiety in patients, with the result that anxiety decreases.
Discussion: Nursing care is an important factor for a person when facing (health) problems during hospitalization and as a strategy to reduce anxiety where the outlook on life becomes broad and not easily anxious
