Abstract

This domino card media development research was conducted in response to the lack of learning media in IPAS subjects, especially on the material of Sound Waves and Their Properties at SDN Junrejo 01 Batu. In addition, this Domino Card media can also deepen the knowledge of students about sound waves and their properties. This Domino Card media development research aims to: 1) Develop Domino Card learning media for IPAS subject matter of Sound Waves and their Properties class V SD N Junrejo 01 Batu which is feasible and effective to use.

The type of research to be used is Research and Development (R&D) using two types of data, namely primary data and secondary data. This development research refers to the ADDIE model with five development steps, namely: 1) Analysis, 2) Design, 3) Development, 4) Implementation and 5) Evaluation.

The results of the Domino Card media development research using the ADDIE method have met the criteria from the trials of several experts. The results of the media expert trial showed a validity level of 67%. While the validity of the material expert is 74%. From the percentage by the validation of media experts and material experts, it can be calculated that the average percentage is 71% with valid qualifications and feasible to use. While the results of the user trial showed the level of effectiveness reached 92% for learning experts and 83% for students. The average percentage of user trials is 88%, thus it can be concluded that the Domino Card media developed is effective so that it can be applied in classroom learning.
