Abstract
This study aims to develop, assess the feasibility, and evaluate the effectiveness of
KOTAK (Digital Printed Comic) as a learning media for the Science and Social Studies (IPAS)
subject, specifically on the topic "Forces Around Us" for elementary school students.
The research used the ADDIE development model, which consists of five stages:
Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. KOTAK media was designed
to address the problems of conventional learning methods that are often unengaging and tend to
make students passive. By utilizing the characteristics of elementary school students who enjoy
visuals, storytelling, and playful activities, this media is expected to increase student engagement
in the learning process.
The results of validation from content and media experts indicated that the media is
highly feasible for use. Classroom implementation showed a significant improvement in student
participation and understanding of the material. Therefore, the KOTAK digital comic media is
proven to be an effective and innovative alternative that supports the creation of enjoyable,
interactive, and meaningful learning in line with the principles of the Independent Curriculum.
