Apartments are a type of building constructed in specific areas that are organized functionally, either in a horizontal or vertical manner. Apartments serve as residential space encompassed by joint ownership, shared land, and common facilities. The increasing population has led to population density and an increase in unregulated housing areas in urban areas. This is evidenced by a 5-10% reduction in agricultural land in the city of Madiun each year, which has been converted into residential areas. The demand for space, especially for housing, is rising. The construction of apartments in the city of Madiun aims to address the need for housing due to limited land availability and high land prices resulting from the growing population in Madiun. Therefore, increasing horizontal housing will be difficult to plan, and the option that must be taken is to develop vertically. With a planned layout size of the building of 61 m x 14.5 m, the building consists of 4 floors, totaling 75 units with type 30 that can accommodate 4 - 6 people per unit. The creation of this apartment building is aimed at supporting the need for housing with adequate facilities, especially for the people of Madiun.
