Abstract
Roads are transportation infrastructure that play a very important role in flowing traffic flow. When there is a section of road that is damaged, it will have a significant impact on traffic flow. Road damage can be analyzed to determine the cause and alternative solutions. This study aims to determine the types of road damage and the value of road pavement conditions so that they can determine how to repair them, calculate the budget required. The method used in this study is the Pavement Condition Index (PCI) method. In the PCI method, the severity of pavement damage is a function of 3 main factors, namely: type of damage, severity of damage, and amount or density of damage. This PCI is a numeric index whose value ranges from 0 to 100. A value of 0 indicates that the pavement is in a very damaged condition and a value of 100 indicates that the pavement is in a very perfect condition. The results of the damage survey on the Tumpakmergo - Brumbun road section from STA 0 + 000 - 2 + 200 were crocodile skin cracks, holes, grooves, grain release, patches. edge cracks & sungkur. The PCI value on the section is 45 with moderate conditions based on the rating. The types of maintenance that can be carried out to improve the level of road service according to the highway regulations on the road section are local asphalt coating, filling cracks, patching holes, and leveling, while the types of work include latasir/sandsheet, asphalt pavement excavation, binder absorption layer, adhesive layer, class A aggregate, and hot asphalt mixture. The total budget required to handle the damage is Rp 6,418,646,249
