Abstract

This study explores the portrayal of feminist values in the main character of Enola Holmes 2. Using feminist theory as the framework, the research aims to examine how Enola opposes traditional gender roles, shows independence, and faces challenges within a patriarchal society. The method used is qualitative analysis by observing scenes, dialogues, and character actions. The study identifies elements of liberal, radical, postmodern, and Marxist-socialist feminism throughout the character’s development. The findings show that Enola builds her own detective agency, defends women’s rights, and rejects the roles traditionally assigned to women. Her efforts represent feminist empowerment and reflect her commitment to equality and justice. This research contributes to understanding feminist representation in modern films and how such portrayals may influence society’s view on women’s roles.
