Abstract

This study research to examine the effect of workload on turnover intention with work stress as an intervening variable. This study was conducted on Generation Z employees in the financial sector with a sample of 97 respondents. This type of research uses explanatory research with a quantitative approach. The sampling technique uses a non-probability sampling technique with a purposive sampling technique. Data collection uses questionnaires. The data analysis methods used are scale range and path analysis. The results of this study indicate that workload has a significant effect on turnover intention, workload has a significant effect on work stress, work stress has an effect on turnover intention and work stress mediates the effect of workload on turnover intention.
