Abstract

SIMAJU (Junrejo Village Administration Management System) is an information system used by Junrejo Village to support digital administrative management. SIMAJU is a newly introduced technology designed to replace manual administrative processes, which often cause delays in document management and increase the risk of human error. However, its implementation faces challenges, such as resistance from village staff toward new technology, doubts about system reliability, and limited understanding of the features provided by SIMAJU. This study aims to analyze the readiness and acceptance of users toward SIMAJU using the TRAM (Technology Readiness and Acceptance Model) method, which combines the Technology Readiness Index (TRI) and Technology Acceptance Model (TAM). The analysis results show that out of 9 hypotheses tested, 7 were accepted and 2 were rejected. The accepted hypotheses include OPT → PEU, INN → PEU, INN → PU, INS → PEU, INS → PU, DIS → PU, and PEU → PU. Recommendations from this study were developed based on the analysis results to support the successful implementation of SIMAJU in improving the quality of village administration, including intensive training, the development of more innovative features, and the provision of responsive technical support.
