Abstract

ABSTRACT
Therefore, this study aims to analyze consumer legal protection in purchasing K-Pop concert tickets through personal shopper or war ticketing services on social media and examine dispute resolution mechanisms for consumers who experience losses. This research employs a normative juridical method with a statutory approach, referring to Law No. 8 of 1999 on Consumer Protection (UUPK), the Indonesian Civil Code (KUHPerdata), and the Electronic Information and Transactions Law (UU ITE). The data is obtained through literature studies and case analyses related to ticket purchasing services via social media. The findings indicate that although consumer protection regulations exist, their implementation in digital transactions remains weak. Consumers' lack of awareness regarding their rights and inadequate supervision of ticketing services contribute to the high number of fraud cases. Therefore, strengthening e-commerce regulations, increasing consumer education, and optimizing the role of consumer protection institutions in handling digital transaction disputes are necessary.
