Abstract

Notohadinegoro Airport is a class III airport located in Wirowongso
Village, Ajung District, Jember Regency, East Java Province. ATR 72-600 is the largest aircraft operating at Jember's Notohadinegoro Airport, this airport has an existing runway of 1705 m x 30 m and is planned to be able to serve larger aircraft, namely the B737-500 aircraft. This final project uses the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and the ICAO to determine the length of an aircraft runway. Then using 2 methods in planning the runway pavement structure, the California Bearing Ratio (CBR) method produces a total pavement thickness of 35 inches and the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) method produces a total pavement thickness of 22 inches. calculation of the RAB (Cost Budget Plan) for the Notohadinegoro Airport runway pavement work uses the FAA method because it is superior to work costs and calculation accuracy compared to the CBR method, therefore the FAA method was chosen for runway development at Jember Notohadinegoro Airport. The total cost required to develop the runway according to the planned aircraft requirements is IDR. 79,358,230,786.92 (Seventy Nine Billion Three Hundred Fifty Eight Million Two Hundred Thirty Thousand Seven Hundred Eighty Six Rupiah)
