Abstract

The development of digital technology has encouraged many businesses, including coffee shops, to adopt integrated systems to increase operational efficiency. One important aspect in business management is an effective cashier system that meets user needs. This research discusses the implementation of cashier application design at the Burbank Coffee Shop using a User-Centered Design (UCD) approach, which focuses on the experience and needs of end users. The results of interviews with business owners show that system functionality takes priority over aesthetic design. The results of User Acceptance Testing (UAT) show a user satisfaction level of 93.6%, which is in the "Very Good" category, thus proving that the cashier application developed meets user expectations. In addition, budget efficiency analysis shows that the implementation of this system is able to increase employee productivity, reducing the number of workers from five to four people, which has an impact on reducing salary expenditure and increasing income. The final design that has been approved by the business owner remains focused on system functionality to ensure more efficient business operations.
