Abstract

Based on the results of the analysis of fifth grade students at SDN 6 Ngunut, they still do not understand the use of formulas to find the volume of space, especially in cube and beam spaces. Based on this, researchers developed a product in the form of interactive learning media “VOBAR” to support the learning process and create a pleasant and effective learning atmosphere in accordance with learning objectives. This research aims to produce an interactive learning media product “VOBAR” on Learning Mathematics Volume of Spaces in grade V in Elementary School.
This research uses the ADDIE model research stage which consists of 5 stages, namely analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. This research aims to produce a learning product that can help students in understanding difficult material. Data collection techniques in this study used data collection techniques through interviews, observations, questionnaires, documentation, and the N-Gain Test.
The results of this study produced a product in the form of interactive learning media “VOBAR” on the volume of cubes and beams using Microsoft Power Point applications. This research has gone through the validation stages, namely material validation with a percentage of 84% and media validation with a percentage of 93% with the description “Worth Using”. While the results of student responses obtained a percentage of 89.39% and the N-Gain test obtained a result of 0.6. Based on the results of this study, it can be concluded that the interactive learning media “VOBAR” is feasible to use and effective in the learning process. Interactive learning media “VOBAR” has benefits as a learning support in understanding the material, but interactive learning media “VOBAR” still has shortcomings so that this learning media needs to be given input, innovation and also improvement from further researchers.
