Abstract
Planning for the construction of the Mahkota Bunda Banjarmasin Mother and Child Hospital building is a class C hospital which has 5 floors with a building area of 2537.33 m2 on a land area of 1142 m2. The building structure in this final project is a case study using composite steel (steel-concrete) materials. The advantage of composite steel is that the concrete material is strong in compression and steel is strong in tension. The redesign of this building uses the SRPMM earthquake resistance system with planning standards SNI 1727:2020 concerning Minimum Loads for Planning of Buildings and other Structures, SNI 1729:2020 concerning Specifications for Structural Steel Buildings, SNI 1726:2019 concerning Procedures for Planning Earthquake Resistance for Buildings Building and Non-Building Structures, SNI 7972:2020 concerning Prequalified Connections for Special and Medium Moment Steel Frames in Seismic Applications, SNI 7860:2020 concerning Seismic Provisions for Structural Steel Buildings, and ANSI/AISC 360-2016: Specifications for Structural Steel Buildings . The case study of the redesign of the composite steel superstructure resulted in a composite plate thickness of t = 100 mm, floor deck type W-1000 with a base metal thickness of 0.70 mm, with M10-100 wire mesh reinforcement produced from PT. Metal Union. Main beam with WF profile 350 × 175 × 7 × 11, joist beam with WF profile 250 × 125 × 6 × 9, and column with WF profile 400 × 400 × 13 × 21. Extended plate type connection with stiffeners, where the connection uses welding and bolts.
