ANALISIS KEMAMPUAN PENYELESAIAN MASALAH MATEMATIKA BERDASARKAN ADVERSITY QUOTIENT DI KELAS IV SD MUHAMMADIYAH 09 KOTA MALANG

Problem-solving ability is an ability possessed by students in solving mathematical problems through a process or stage, so that students do not immediately find the answer to the mathematical problem but are required to think critically gradually until they find an answer to the problem. Reasoning is needed for students to be able to practice solving problems in mathematics learning. The general purpose of this study is to describe how the ability to solve mathematical problems based on adversity quotient in grade IV of SD Muhammadiyah 09 Malang City.
This study uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive method, in this study it is necessary to observe problems that occur in schools based on adversity quotient in mathematics learning to obtain accurate information. This research will be carried out at SD Muhammadiyah 09 Malang City using observations, questionnaires, written tests, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis in this study is through data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawn. The data wetness check in this study uses the triangulation technique.
The results of this study are that there are six subjects consisting of two with type adversity quotient climbers, two with type adversity quotient campers, and two with type adversity quotient quitters. All of these subjects can meet all indicators of problem solving according to Polya's Theory in written tests and oral tests.
