Abstract
Reading and writing literacy is an important aspect in the world of education, especially at the elementary school level. However, PISA data shows that the literacy skills of students in Indonesia have decreased, from 39th in 2000 to 74th in 2018. This decline has also had an impact on the low level of digital literacy in Indonesia, which according to CNBC Indonesia only reached 62%, the lowest among ASEAN countries. The low level of digital literacy is caused by limited access to technology, lack of formal education, and low awareness of the importance of digital literacy in everyday life.
This study used a qualitative descriptive research method. This research was conducted at SDI Al-Munawwarah in the 2024/2025 academic year. The data sources in this study were the principal, grade V teachers, the Sakera pedal assistant teacher, and the top three students from each class VA, VB, VC, VD with a total of 12 students. The implementation of this study used data collection methods with observation, interviews, and documentation.
The results of this study indicate that digital literacy planning through Sipedal Sakera at SDI Al-Munawwarah includes Determination of School Vision and Mission Policy, Digital Literacy in Sipedal Sakera, Human Resources, Students, and Facilities and Infrastructure. The Implementation stage includes Internet Search, Hypertext Direction Guidance, Information Content Evaluation, and Knowledge Compilation. In addition, the obstacles faced include lost connections during power outages and teacher inconsistency in writing reading materials. Thus, the efforts implemented include continuous evaluation, provision of generator sets, and giving quizzes to students to improve digital literacy culture sustainably and comprehensively.
