Abstract
Based on the results of research on 9 subjects who are Malang students, it can be concluded that the hyperreality of beautiful coffee on social media is the result of absorbing knowledge about beautiful coffee trends brought by social media and the circle of friends, with the spread of this beautiful coffee through social media, where social media is a place which supports the existence of a form of simulation of a beautiful coffee activity.
Social media here is an encouragement for individuals to exist, today's young people like self-branding on social media so that it encourages them to show their best appearance on social media, that's what makes them, especially Malang female students, like beautiful coffee activities, because when they do beautiful coffee activities , it is felt that it can make a good assessment for the audience on their Instagram social media, apart from that it is also because of the friendship factor, where friendship is our closest environment in the external space, making the subject to carry out this beautiful coffee activity, besides that in hyperreality this triggers reality negativity which makes individuals always feel lacking in owning something such as the items they wear, where when having a beautiful coffee the subject is conscious of wanting to display nice clothes, with brand 1 then feels lacking and wants to have brand 2 where this feeling of lacking continues to emerge. This is the result of negativity in the hyperreality of beautiful coffee for Malang students.
