Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of work-life balance on employee performance, with job satisfaction as a mediating variable among production employees at PT. Energy Lautan Nusantara. This research employs a quantitative approach with an explanatory research design. The population in this study consists of all 35 production employees and the sample was selected using a saturated sampling technique, involving the entire population. The analysis technique used in this study is Partial Least Square (PLS) with the SMARTPLS 4 software. The results indicate that work-life balance has a positive and significant effect on employee performance, work-life balance has a positive and significant effect on job satisfaction, job satisfaction has a positive and significant effect on employee performance, and job satisfaction mediates the effect of work-life balance on employee performance. These findings are important for companies to design policies that support work-life balance to enhance job satisfaction, ultimately contributing to improved employee performance.
