Abstract
Character education is very crucial in forming individuals with noble character, in line with the goals of national education Law No. 20 of 2003 concerning the national education system states that the purpose of national education is to develop the potential of students to have intelligence, personality, and noble character. Education is not only about cognition but also character education. The complex challenges of the young generation experiencing moral degradation require a strong foundation for improving human resources. It requires collaboration between educators, parents, schools, and the community, as well as planned strategies for effective character building.
This is one of the bases for the need for a more in-depth study related to the implementation of the Wednesday program created by the Stars as the formation of leadership and creative character in students. Therefore, the writing of this article aims to analyze school strategies through the constellation program as the formation of leadership and creative character of students and identify the value of leadership and creative character values developed through the constellation program.
The research was conducted using a qualitative approach with a descriptive type. The instruments used are interviews, observations, and documentation studies. The subjects of the study were the principal, 2 elementary school teachers, and 6 students of SDN Tulungrejo 02 Batu. The results of the study show that the constellation program is a continuous habituation program to instill positive values. This program uses five methods, namely project-based learning, leadership rotation, coaching, peer feedback, and parent-teacher meetings, to develop skills, especially leadership and creativity through a collaborative work creation process.
