Abstract

Learning media serve as tools that assist teachers in the teaching process, enabling students to understand better the lessons delivered. Based on interviews and observations conducted at SDN 1 Ariyojeding, specifically in the fourth-grade class, it was observed that during the P5 learning process, the teaching approach tended to be passive. Teachers rarely utilized media during instruction and underutilized available electronic devices. To address these issues, the researcher developed a P5 learning media focused on environmental conservation through vegetable cultivation, aiming to enhance student's understanding and engagement during learning activities.
In this research and development of the Digital Booklet learning media, the researcher employed the ADDIE model, which consists of five stages: Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. Data collection techniques included observation, interviews, questionnaires, and documentation. Data analysis was conducted using both qualitative and quantitative approaches.
Developing the Digital Booklet learning media on environmental conservation through vegetable cultivation yielded excellent results. The validation by subject matter experts scored 88.33%, and the validation by media experts scored 87.5%, indicating that the media falls into the highly feasible category. Additionally, the student response questionnaire analysis showed a satisfaction rate of 93.5%, while the evaluation test achieved an average score of 87.27, meeting the minimum competency criteria (KKM). Based on these results, it can be concluded that the Digital Booklet media is suitable for use as a supporting tool in the learning process for fourth-grade elementary school students. However, the media still has certain limitations and requires further innovation and improvements for subsequent research. This study recommends using the Digital Booklet learning media as a reference for developing other learning media to support the success of the teaching and learning process.
