UPAYA AMERIKA SERIKAT MEMPENGARUHI NEGARA MITRA MELALUI SANKSI TERHADAP HUAWEI

Huawei is a multinational company engaged in information and communication technology from China. The purpose of this study is to explain the United States' efforts to influence partner countries through sanctions against Huawei. The data analysis method that the author uses is qualitative. The United States has imposed sanctions through various laws such as a presidential executive order that placed Huawei on the entity list. It is because Huawei had violated business rules such as selling goods embargoed to Iran, tricking HSBC bank into moving funds from Iran, as well as security threats posed by Huawei equipment. The United States as a superpower can influence partner countries to no longer do business or use Huawei equipment. Carried out in order to guarantee national interests from external threats and reduce dominance or dependence on Chinese products.
