Abstract
Background: In the patient Mr. S was diagnosed with Vulnus Laceratum in the right groin measuring 20 cm and 5 cm long with active bleeding. With the patient's bleeding condition, the patient was given a modified Trendelenburg position and a combination of Ringer's lactate fluid which aimed to determine the increase in the patient's blood pressure.
Method: This research collects data by conducting anamnesis, observation, interviews, documentation and physical examination to collect various data from patients and the patient's family to complete the data.
Results: After a combination of modified Trendelenburg position 10-15º and collaboration with Ringer lactate fluid 24 tpm for 3 hours. The results show Mr. S experienced an increase in distole of 4 mmHg and systole of 5 mmHg from 92/57 mmHg with MAP: 68.8 mmHg below normal to 96/62 mmHg with MAP: 73.3 mmHg in the normal category.
Discussion: From subjective and objective data obtained from Mr. S and his family used the Standard Nursing Diagnosis (SDKI) for the patient to be diagnosed with hypovolemia. This diagnosis uses nursing intervention, Hypovolemia Management and fluid status outcomes as outcome criteria that refer to the SLKI and SIKI guidelines. Management of hypovolemia with fluid output status involves administering modified Trendelernburg fluid 10-15º and administering Ringer lactate fluid.
