Abstract

ABSTRACT
Broiler chicken farming is a business that has the potential to be very profitable if
developed properly and correctly. East Belitung Regency is one of the regencies in
Bangka Belitung Province that has experienced a significant increase in broiler
production. This study aims to: 1) determine the amount of total costs, income, the
amount of profit received, and the Break Event Point (BEP) value of the broiler livestock
business at Hyigien Fresh Chicken Farm Company, 2) determine whether the farm
business is feasible based on the R / C ratio and B / C ratio analysis. The method used is a
survey method with questions and interviews. The data analysis material used is
qualitative. This research was conducted for 90 days with a sample size of 46,000 heads.
The income received by the Company is Rp. 1.097.143.000 per one period in two months,
with a Break Event Point (BEP) unit value of 74.678,57 heads per four production times
in two months and a Break Event Point (BEP) price of Rp. 20.138,04/Kg per one period
in two months. Based on the results of the research, the broiler livestock business at
Hyigien Fresh Chicken Farm Company, East Belitung Regency is declared feasible with
an R / C ratio value of 1,49 and a B / C ratio value of 0.49, this livestock business is
profitable and feasible to use.
