Abstract

The pharmacist's role as a drug-related profession is very important, especially in providing education about drugs. The introduction of drugs at the elementary school level is also one of the duties of a pharmacist. This service was carried out in elementary schools with the theme "Introduction to Apocil and Dagusibu". The purpose of early introduction of drugs is expected to reduce drug abuse that often occurs at the adolescent level. By introducing it from the elementary school level, it is hoped that it can be embedded in students that medicine is a poison that can only be used according to certain types of diseases and doses. The target of this activity is students in grades 4 and 5 of MI Assalafiyah in order to gain insight into medicine correctly. The implementation of the activity started by creating a class whatsapp group then making a youtube link to provide material via video then continued by using the google form for pretest and posttest. There are 2 materials provided, namely the introduction of the pharmacist profession, how to use drugs correctly, and DaGuSiBu education. The results of this service activity showed that students were enthusiastic in participating in community service activities even though there was no increase in the average score of the pretest (75.8) and posttest (75.3).
