ANALISIS INTERAKTIVITAS AKUN MEDIA SOSIAL X SUARA SURABAYA SEBAGAI MEDIA INFORMASI BAGI PUBLIK

The presence of social media has brought many changes to various aspects of society’s life. One of these changes is the ease of accessing information. This has led conventional media to make adjustments, including Suara Surabaya Media. Suara Surabaya Media utilizes X as a supporting platform to disseminate information. The shift in public habits and the adjustments made by Suara Surabaya have resulted in significant interactivity on its X account.

This study aims to analyze the interactivity on Suara Surabaya’s X account as part of its efforts to provide public services. A descriptive qualitative approach is used to obtain a realistic depiction of how interactivity occurs on the X account @e100ss of Suara Surabaya Media in delivering information to the public.

The findings of this study indicate that the forms of interactivity on the @e100ss X account include user-to-user, user-to-document, and user-to-system interactions. Among these, user-to-system interaction is the most effective in generating interactivity. This is because users tend to seek information or news related to trending moments, which aligns with the message characteristics of user-to-system tweets.

The results of this study are expected to assist, particularly the social media administrators of Suara Surabaya, in optimizing social media as a communication tool for information dissemination.
