IMPLEMENTASI EARLY WARNING SCORE (EWS) DAN KEJADIAN CARDIAC ARREST DI IGD RS TIPE C KABUPATEN MALANG

Background: Cardiac arrest (CA) is a very crucial global public health challenge, because it has
been the cause of death for millions of people in the world. This disease generally occurs suddenly and
is caused by an unstable heart rhythm. If it occurs briefly, then it is not dangerous and vice versa.
Hospitals must increase their awareness and response to changing patient conditions, one of which is
through the early warning score (EWS) instrument. One of the goals is to avoid sudden CA
incidence that could have been predicted within 48 hours beforehand. This study aims to determine
implementation of EWS in the incidence of CA in the emergency room of type c hospital, Malang
Regency.
Method: This research design is cross-sectional with a sample of 12 medical record data from
cardiac arrest patients in the emergency room in the emergency room of type c hospital, Malang
