Abstract
Cash Direct Assistance (BLT) is a government program designed to reduce poverty. As a national policy, BLT is based on an analysis of conditions and the application of clear laws. The purpose of this study is to analyze the evaluation of the implementation of the Cash Direct Assistance Program for the period of June-August 2024 in Besuki Village, Udanawu District, Blitar Regency. This research uses a descriptive qualitative approach. Data collection techniques include observation, documentation, and interviews. Data analysis techniques consist of data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions.
The results of the study show that the Village Fund Cash Direct Assistance Program (BLT-DD) in Besuki Village has proven effective in helping the poor, especially during the COVID-19 pandemic. Designed to support vulnerable groups such as daily laborers and informal sector workers, this program involves strict data collection and verification to ensure that the assistance reaches the right recipients. Survey results indicate that BLT-DD has successfully alleviated economic burdens, supported the fulfillment of basic needs, and provided small business capital for some recipients. This program has made a significant positive impact on improving the welfare of the people in Besuki Village.
The conclusion of this study is that the Besuki Village Government is committed to improving the data collection system, increasing accountability, and strengthening communication with the community. Approaches such as socializing recipient criteria and economic independence training are designed to reduce dependence on subsidies. Overall, BLT-DD has had a positive impact both economically and socially, although improvements are needed for its sustainability and effectiveness in the future.
