Abstract

The Lintang Batang Bridge is a bridge connecting Palangkaraya with Sampit which
has a length of 30.59 meters. The purpose and objective of building this bridge is
to increase the capacity of the road network in serving traffic. In this study, the
foundation planning will use bored pile foundation as the main foundation. Bored
pile foundation is a deep foundation in the form of steel reinforcement and spiral
reinforcement with certain sizes. The bridge base (abutment) is part of the
substructure of the bridge located at the ends of the bridge at the abutment, the
earthquake force, wind force, brake force, and friction force on the horizontal
placement are calculated. The large load received by the foundation on the
abutment from the calculation results are ƩV = 259.778 tons and ƩH = 52.688 tons.
The planned abutment dimensions are 6.00 m high with a pile cap measuring 4.20
m x 10.94 m. From the calculation results, the large bearing capacity of the
foundation under the abutment is 852.110 tons/pile. The large foundation
subsidence that occurred due to the load above it on the abutment was 90.83 cm
over a period of 98 years.
