Abstract

Flooding is a natural disaster that often occurs, especially in Bareng Village, Klojen District, Malang City. Precisely at RW 08 RT 14-15 and RT 07 RT 01-02. Flooding lasted 30 minutes to 1 hour with a height of 80-100 cm. Based on the research that has been conducted, researchers used a qualitative approach with the type of evaluation research. Researchers collected research data through 2 data sources, namely primary and secondary. By conducting observations, interviews, documentation and internet searching on research subjects that match the criteria or what is usually called purposive sampling. In analyzing the data using the theory of Program Effectiveness by Edy Sutrisno and also the Theory of Social Change. It can be found that the flood prevention program that has been carried out by BPBD Malang City is through outreach, training and direction to Tangguh Village Volunteers and representatives of flood victims.
