PENYIDIKAN BERBASIS SCIENTIFIC CRIMINAL INVESTIGATION PADA KASUS PIDANA MEDIK

This study aims to determine the investigation based on scientific criminal investigation in medical criminal cases. This study was conducted using a normative legal research method where the research approach is based on the main legal material by examining theories, concepts, legal principles, and applicable legislation. Then the technique of collecting legal materials in this study focuses on library research. The results of this study indicate that the investigation of criminal cases using the Scientific Criminal Investigation method is the most effective and accurate method in exposing various criminal acts committed by the perpetrators, where in proving criminal acts, the application plays an important role in minimizing errors that often occur when processing evidence. Then the second research result, namely regarding the Scientific Criminal Investigation method, can be evidence and evidence in court, if the results of the Scientific Criminal Investigation used as expert testimony show a testimony submitted by an expert regarding the results of scientific research, but when the results of the Scientific Criminal Investigation are presented in the form of a letter, of course, the formality will be more secure. Then if the results of the Scientific Criminal Investigation as a contribution of evidence, where when the results of the Scientific Criminal Investigation are presented in court, these results will be adjusted to the existing facts. So that the results of the evidence in the investigation using the Scientific Criminal Investigation method can be considered by the judge and it will be seen how the judge decides the verdict.
