The results of this research show that soft skills, hard skills and knowledge management have a significant influence on the innovative behavior of startup employees in Malang. Soft skills and hard skills have been directly proven to be able to encourage employees to be more innovative in their work, as well as knowledge management which plays an important role in increasing innovative behavior. However, soft skills are proven to have a significant direct influence on innovative behavior, but do not show an influence through knowledge management. On the other hand, hard skills not only have a direct influence on innovative behavior but also show a significant influence through knowledge management.
