Abstract

Cycling facilities are infrastructure that can be used by cyclists, the form of this facility can be in the form of a bicycle path. In this study, we reviewed the cyclist facilities located on Ahmad Yani Street because on this road there are school areas, institutions and shops. The aim of this study is to determine the level of bicycle lane service using the Bicycle Level of Service (BLOS) approach, a bicycle lane design based on the Indonesian Road Capacity Manual (MKJI). To achieve this goal, a survey was carried out to determine traffic volume, motor vehicle speed, percentage of heavy vehicles, pavement condition and effective road width. This study shows that the side obstacle class is low and the level of bicycle lane service on the road observed at STA 0+281 and STA 0+848 is B. It can be interpreted that the environment on the Ahmad Yani Street section is effective in implementing a special lane for cyclists crossing the road. Working days and Holidays.
