PENGEMBANGAN POTENSI PARIWISATA DI PESISIR PANTAI PRIGI KABUPATEN TRENGGALEK SEBAGAI PENUNJANG EKONOMI MASYARAKAT

Tourism is one of the activities that can contribute to the economy of a region. The development of tourism potential needs to be developed as a supporting factor for the community's economy. This research is a qualitative study using a descriptive approach from Miles & Huberman. This research aims to describe the tourism development potential of Prigi Beach, Trenggalek Regency as a support for the community's economy. The informants of this research are the Tourism and Culture Office (DISPARBUD) of Trenggalek Regency and the community who are members of the Prigi Beach Tourism Awareness Group (POKDARWIS). The results showed that the development of the tourism potential of Prigi Beach has been running optimally guided by the Regional Regulation of Trenggalek Regency Number 26 of 2016 concerning the Regional Tourism Development Master Plan (RIPPARDA) of Trenggalek Regency in 2017-2031. Efforts made in developing the tourism potential of Prigi Beach are by collaboration between the community and the government through the association of Tourism Awareness Groups (POKDARWIS) Prigi Beach. Another effort is the utilization of the potential of Human Resources (HR) through business services training programs and the utilization of budget resources allocated for the development of Prigi Beach facilities
