DUKUNGAN SOSIAL PENGURUS TERHADAP KEMANDIRIAN ANAK DISABILITAS MELALUI PEMBERDAYAAN PENGOLAHAN ECOPRINT (Studi Pada Paguyuban Mutiara Kasih di Kota Malang)

The high number of disabilities in children indicates the need for empowerment-based social support with skills to show creativity in children. Mutiara Kasih Association is a community of social activists that organizes social service programs for children with disabilities that use social support based on ecoprint processing empowerment. This study aims to describe the form of social support from administrators for children with disabilities in ecoprint empowerment. The method used is qualitative research with a descriptive type. The process of determining research subjects uses a purposive technique. Data collection techniques used include observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis techniques use participatory methods consisting of data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of the study show that social support implemented Mutiara Kasih Association by accommodating empowerment programs includes: providing a sense of security, providing facility services, special training, and marketing ecoprint products.
