Abstract
In this increasingly modern era, many students are studying while working. Working students often face challenges in maintaining a balance between academic, work, and personal life, which is called work-life balance. This imbalance can trigger burnout, characterized by physical, emotional, and mental fatigue due to continuous pressure. The purpose of this research is to study whether there is a relationship between work life balance and burnout. This research design is quantitative non-experimental correlational type with research respondents as many as 85 early adult individuals aged 18-25 years and are students who study while working. The scales used in this variable are the work life balance scale and the burnout scale. The data analysis method of this study uses the Pearson product moment correlation analysis test with a coefficient value (r) of -0.557 with a significance value of 0.000 (p < 0.05), meaning that this study shows a negative relationship between work life balance and significant burnout. The lower the level of work life balance, the higher the level of burnout, and vice versa.
