Abstract
Workplace bullying still occurs frequently. Employees with low emotional intelligence are vulnerable to bullying at work. However, employees with high emotional intelligence are less likely to experience bullying at work. The purpose of this study is to examine the relationship between emotional intelligence and workplace bullying. The type of research used in this study is quantitative. The subjects of this study are employees in Malang City, totaling sixty people. The research instrument used in this study is a scale or questionnaire. There are two scales: the Schutte Emotional Intelligence Scale to measure emotional intelligence and the Bullying at Work scale to measure workplace bullying. The data analysis method in this study uses the Pearson product-moment correlation statistical technique with the help of an application. The analysis results show a negative and significant relationship between emotional intelligence and workplace bullying. This means that the higher the employee's emotional intelligence, the lower the workplace bullying.
