Abstract
In today's modern era, the measurement of career success is increasingly shifting from the influence of organizations or companies to individual targets. Employees no longer judge their success solely based on promotions, salaries, or recognition from the company, but rather on personal achievements that match their desires and career aspirations. This phenomenon reflects a paradigm shift where individuals are expected to proactively seek and set their own career targets, especially in the context of economic uncertainty and rapid changes in the world of work. The aim of this research is to determine the influence of self- management skills and collaborative leadership on protean career orientation . The sampling method uses non-probability sampling with accidental sampling technique. The 170 subjects in this study were elementary to high school employees and teachers, with the criteria being male/female, aged 20 to 60 years. The instruments used are the self management skills scale, collaborative leadership scale and protean career orientation scale. Data analysis used the Kolmogorov Smirnov normality test. The results of the analysis test show that there is an influence of self-management skills and collaborative leadership on protean career orientation of 42.1%.
