Abstract
Nowadays, career readiness is very important for final year students because at the final level it is often a concern to determine the extent to which a person feels ready and confident to enter the world of work after completing education. This study aims to describe the level of career readiness, which is an important aspect to ensuring college graduates can compete in an increasingly complex world of work. The study used a quantitative method with a descriptive approach. There were 97 samples of final year students aged 20-24 years from various universities in Indonesia selected using the Accidental Sampling Technique. This study is expected to describe aspects of career readiness based on three classifications, namely career decision making, career planning, and career confidence.
The results of the study showed that career readiness of final year students was more prominent in the career planning aspect, namely 62.9% compared to the career decision making aspect of 46.4% and career confidence 49.5%. From this study it can be concluded that career readiness requires attention to these three aspects. The implication of the study is the need for related parties, in this case university educational institutions, to provide programs such as seminars or workshops to support career readiness.
