Abstract
This research aims to evaluate the Key Performance Indicator (KPI) which is used to determine retirement readiness for PT employees. Bumi Pandaan Plastic. Declining employee productivity is a problem that companies must resolve. Many factors influence the decline in productivity, one of which is performance. In measuring performance, companies must have measuring tools, one of which is KPI. This research uses observation, interviews and documentation methods to collect data from informants, especially sorting division employees. Observations are carried out based on the application of existing indicators in KPI, namely, performance assessment, absenteeism and target achievement. Interviews were conducted to obtain more specific answers from informants based on the CIPP components (Context, Input, Process and Product). Where it is analyzed further into thematic analysis to obtain codes and themes related to research aspects. The research results show that the KPIs in the company are not implemented optimally. After evaluating the KPI system, it was found that the decline in productivity was caused by employees who were elderly, where employees should be entering retirement. However, the lack of clarity in existing policies causes employees to be reluctant to retire. Companies also cannot make strategic decisions regarding why employees should be retired if they do not know the qualities of individual employees. With this research, it is hoped that it can help companies in better retirement planning so that the quality of existing human resources becomes more effective, so that productivity problems can be overcome.
