STRATEGI KOMUNIKASI INTERPERSONAL ORANG TUA TERHADAP ANAK DALAM MENCEGAH PERNIKAHAN DINI (Studi Kasus Pada Orang Tua yang Memiliki Anak Remaja di Kecamatan Jogoroto Kabupaten Jombang

Early marriage is believed to have a negative influence on household relationships. Has a significant negative influence on household relationships, both from a psychological, social and economic perspective. From a psychological perspective, it is believed that both parties involved in the practice of early marriage are not yet ready to live life as husband and wife and take care of their offspring. Because several challenges and negative influences will arise that must be endured, several controlling communication strategies are needed that must be implemented to avoid this. The research aims to find out communication strategies between parents and children in preventing early marriage by using five control strategies (dependent sword, catalyst, tied woter, conjoined twins, imaginary world). Furthermore, this research uses case study research with a qualitative approach, as well as interviews as data collection techniques to obtain in-depth data from the research subjects. The research results showed that early marriage can be prevented with several control strategies, namely catalysts for strict prevention by parents towards children. Apart from that, in order for the prevention to work properly, openness is needed in the communication relationship between parents and children.
