Abstract

This research aims to analyze the potential growth of foreign investment in West Nusa Tenggara (NTB) Province through participation in the Indonesia-Latin America and Caribbean (INA-LAC) Business Forum 2023. Using a descriptive qualitative approach, this study highlights how NTB utilizes this international forum to introduce regional advantages and attract foreign investors. Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) theory and “The OLI Framework” are used as the theoretical foundation to understand the factors that motivate foreign investment in NTB. The results show that although no official agreements have been signed, the forum has opened promising communication and cooperation opportunities, especially in the tourism, renewable energy, and creative industry sectors. The conclusion of this study confirms the importance of international business forums as a platform to strengthen regional economic competitiveness and attract sustainable foreign investment.
