PERLINDUNGAN HUKUM PADA KORBAN TINDAK PIDANA KEKERASAN DALAM RUMAH TANGGA OLEH UNIT PPA POLRES JOMBANG, LEMBAGA SOSIAL DAN PELAYANAN ROHANI DI KABUPATEN JOMBANG

The number of domestic violence cases experienced a significant increase
in mid-2018-2023. The problem that occurs in the legal protection of domestic
violence victims at the Jombang Police is that the legal rules regarding the rights
and obligations of victims that have been written in the Domestic Violence Law
have not been implemented. This article aims to describe and explain the
assistance of social legal institutions and spiritual services for victims of domestic
violence as well as describe the factors that support and hinder the assistance of
social legal institutions and spiritual services for victims of domestic violence.
The method used in this writing is Sociological Juridical with data collection
techniques using interviews. The conclusion of this writing is that the form of
legal assistance for the WCC Jombang social institution includes psychological
counseling or consultation, legal assistance (litigation and non-litigation),
providing safe housing and strengthening capacity for external partners as well as
consultancy services. Factors that support assistance from social legal institutions
and spiritual services for victims of domestic violence in accordance with the
Domestic Violence Law are the availability of supporting facilities such as
shelters, the availability of special communication channels (hotlines) and
collaboration with community groups. Meanwhile, the inhibiting factor is the lack
of coordination between the institutions involved in handling cases, which has the
impact of not being accommodated with good spiritual assistance.
