Abstract

Chickens are one of the livestock that can produce eggs, by laying eggs chickens can breed, usually raised by the community, and serve as one of the livelihoods for the community's economy. Chicken farmers often experience problems in terms of hatching their chicken eggs, several factors that hinder the egg hatching process, both from natural factors and from the livestock itself. Some natural factors include the influence of temperature in the area.the egg hatching process with temperatures ranging from 37°C-39° and humidity of 40% - 60% normal in the egg hatching process. This research aims to create a temperature and humidity monitoring system in egg hatching devices that can be accessed using smartphones. With IoT technology, farmers can monitor egg hatchers remotely, the implementation methods used are system design and construction of egg hatcher incubators, design and design of control systems using ESP32, design and manufacture of monitoring, control, and testing of tools. From the test results carried out by the DHT11 sensor, it aims to compare the temperature values produced by the temperature and humidity measuring device. It is hoped that the use of this egg hatcher incubator system can help farmers to increase the yield of livestock chickens and help maintain good egg production.
