Abstract

The implementation of barcode technology in the packaging division of PT Tirta Sukses Perkasa addresses inefficiencies and inaccuracies in manual labeling systems. This study aims to enhance operational efficiency and data accuracy through technological innovation. A qualitative approach was applied, incorporating interviews, observations, and system analysis using Miles and Huberman's model. The findings reveal frequent errors in manual labeling, inaccurate inventory records, and delays in supply chain processes. The adoption of barcode systems resulted in real-time inventory monitoring, error reduction, and improved operational workflows. These outcomes demonstrate that barcode technology significantly increases efficiency and optimizes inventory management, contributing to the company's competitiveness in the AMDK industry. Further applications include integrating barcode systems into other divisions and aligning them with existing SAP systems for more robust data management.
