Abstract

Drug compounds that cause narcotic effects have been regulated regarding use in the Pharmaceutical Industry, with the existence of liability regulations in the Narcotics Law. This writing reviews the related regulations in Law Number 35 of 2009 on Narcotics, how the regulations regarding distribution permit drugs containing class I narcotics are regulated and how legal liability is regulated for the pharmaceutical industry that uses narcotics in making products. This research uses normative juridical methods with techniques namely collecting library study materials. The conclusion and suggestion from this writing is that the pharmaceutical industry must be strict in obtaining product distribution permits and then in internal control to minimize the use of narcotics without supervision, strengthening supervision of the pharmaceutical industry requires the development of a better internal control system with provisions in accordance with the law.
